Were they half brothers? Were they not blood brothers at all and from a previous marriage of Joseph? Were they cousins? We're Jesus'sibling younger or older than him?
1st Samuel 1, when Hannah dedicates Samuel for God and gives him to the priests, is she giving up her entire parental role? IE would Samuel stay with them at night, visit occasionally, or was he essentially adopted by the priests and take into their family?
