Picking Sides

Picking Sides

70: In this week's episode, Pastor Plek, Pastor Joseph, and Catie Sas discuss the potential difficulties in choosing a child for adoption, picking which songs we sing for worship, picking what sabbath looks like and choosing to not be angry. Want to submit a question? Text 737-231-0605

Questions:

1. Why do we sing songs from Elevation Church or Bethel Worship when (I think) we would disagree with them often in theology? And even if the songs we sing are theologically sound, is it still good to potentially be advocating for those churches by singing their songs?

2. So how should the Sabbath look different for Christians if at all

3. How do we know Nehemiah's anger was not righteous? Nehemiah’s response in chapter 13 reminds me of Jesus's righteous anger when he cleanses the temple in John 2.

4. Am I correct in understanding that we did not meet our goal for phase 1? So what happens now?
