199: Pastor Plek, Pastor Mo, Catie Sas, and guest John Zhu recap sunday's sermon on Mark 14 and answer a few questions submitted by our listeners.
Do you think Christian's tend to take advantage of Jesus dying on the cross for our sins? Meaning, we just use that as an excuse to justify why we sin and keep on keeping on with sin? Hebrews 10:26 - For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins.
Aren't there a couple places in the synoptic gospels where Peter declare that Jesus is the Messiah? Is that not the same thing as claiming that He is God? Are there other places in the gospels where Jesus says that He is God?
After Peter denied Jesus twice, Jesus forgave him. Do you think Jesus would have forgiven Judas? I can imagine Judas was so ashamed and probably thought there was no way that he could he be forgiven, but he knew Jesus. Did Judas not really believe Jesus was the savior?
